KINGSTON USB STICK
USB DataTraveler Enhance your Vista system with Kingston’s DataTraveler ReadyFlash.
Before Windows® Vista™, background tasks such as scanning and automatic backups were done when the system thought they would be of least disturbance to you. Now with Windows Vista, Windows SuperFetch™ technology learns what applications you use most and prepares them by preloading them to memory.
Windows ReadyBoost™, which is used in conjunction with SuperFetch, allows your system to utilize a memory source in addition to DRAM for processing data and applications. This feature is ideal for systems with limited memory expansion capabilities. For instance, if your notebook has a maximum memory capacity of 1GB installed, Windows ReadyBoost allows for usage of a Flash memory device, such as the DataTraveler® ReadyFlash (DTR), as a more responsive storage medium for ReadyBoost cache.
DTR is a USB 2.0 Flash drive enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost; when connected to a Vista based system’s USB 2.0 port, the Windows Vista AutoPlay (Figure 1) dialog box will offer the option of using the device for ReadyBoost. However, only devices like DTR meet the performance requirements and capacity threshold for ReadyBoost.
Take full advantage of all that Windows Vista has to offer with the DataTraveler ReadyFlash. With DTR, storing, carrying, and transferring data has never been easier. Take your work, music, or photos with you anywhere.
Backed by a five-year warranty and Kingston’s legendary service and support, DataTraveler ReadyFlash is a safe, reliable solution for taking important files with you wherever you go.
